A blend of 91% Tempranillo, 8 % Graciano, 1 & Garnacha. From 30+ year old bush vines, in the Rioja Alta area. Average yield 1.5 kg per vine. Fermentation in French oak, ageing 14 months in French oak, 40% new 60% 2nd use. Low yields result in concentration of intense aromas of crushed red cherry, savoury herbs & ripe, spicy, structured fruit on the palate with soft tannins & a long finish.
