Taurasi made from Aglianico grapes in Irpinia, a sub-region of Campania, 50k northeast of Naples. Its origins date back as far as 800 BC. Intense and complex, earthy, oak, leather, spice and mature red fruits. Full, and very complex with the age doing its thing, giving a lovely smoothness.
