Still quite modestly priced for a high level Grand Cru Saint-Emilion Boutisse is classically Merlot dominated but has around 10% Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend as well. It has a full body, plenty of depth and a great structure. There are ripe red fruits on the palate with cloves and and dry spice aromas. The velvety tannins sit silkily on the tongue and lead up to a satisfyingly lengthy finish.
