Following one of Simon Staples’ previous analogies, this year’s Lynch Bages is again gladiatorial, muscular, defined, powerful and it certainly will entertain. A core of beautifully defined, luscious, cassis and blackcurrant fruit provides weight and a light touch of sweetness whilst the long finish has a gentle, stylish and graceful uplift.
