Effectively the second wine of Jim Barry’s The Armagh – one of Australia’s icon wines. Made from declassified Armagh grapes blended with other good parcels from the Clare Valley this has aromas of violets, red currant, and ripe back plums with spice and oak touches. On the palate this has pleasing density, ripe plum and purple fruits, and layered fine tannins.
