Produced at the legendary Buffalo Trace Distillery just outside Frankfort Kentucky using mash bill no. 1 which is high in corn and lower in rye (under 10%). Eagle Rare is a step up from regular bourbon but at a low price – aromas of caramel, orange peel, honey and nougat; sweet on the palate with chocolate and vanilla notes and a long finish.
